Legend of Legaia , uncommonly abbreviated as LoL, is a Sony PlayStation RPG created by Contrail. The game features RPG gameplay, including Japanese character voices and a unique storyline. The game was followed by a 2001 sequel on the PlayStation 2, titled Legaia 2: Duel Saga.

Characters :

• Vahn - The young hero from a small village who ventures out to save the world. He wields the Ra-Seru Meta.
• Noa - An energetic girl raised in the mountains by a wolf. She wields the Ra-Seru Terra.
• Gala - A serious monk of Biron who has a dislike of all Seru. He wields the Ra-Seru Ozma. 
• Meta - The Ra-Seru of fire. He joins Vahn at Rim Elm in order to stop the Seru and Mist.
• Terra - The Ra-Seru of wind. At first, she is joined wih a wolf in order to raise Noa. Eventually, she separates from the wolf and joins Noa at Mt. Rikuroa
• Ozma - The Ra-Seru of thunder. He hatches from an egg after the heroes fight a battle against Viguros and joins Gala.
• Songi - The rival of Gala with an obsession with becoming more powerful. He wields the Ra-Seru Jedo.
• Cort - The wicked prince of Conkram and the creator of the Mist Generators. He is a powerful magic-user.
